Anthony J. Nunes is a zealous advocate for marginalized and mistreated workers throughout California. Before going into law, Anthony spent five years as an Economist with the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, DC, and San Francisco. During law school at the University of Minnesota, Anthony worked at a consumer protection clinic and was Managing Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law and Inequality. Anthony has also completed a fellowship with the American Bar Association's Antitrust Division and was a Law Clerk for Vermont's Office of Attorney General.
Since 2013, Anthony has represented employees and consumers in certified class actions, individual cases, arbitrations, and mediations. He specializes in litigating claims for unpaid wages on behalf of blue-collar workers, retail employees, sales representatives, hourly and salaried office professionals, and delivery drivers. He is licensed to practice in California state court and all California federal district courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Anthony lives in Van Nuys, California, and represents workers throughout California. Outside of work, Anthony loves outdoor recreation (hiking, running, camping) and watching his favorite teams (49ers, Sacramento Kings, Oakland A's).
